Dealing with one sprained ankle is bad enough. Dealing with both being sprained at once must be miserable. That's exactly what Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz is dealing with.

On Wednesday, Wentz spoke to the media following practice for the Colts, of which he did not participate due to the injury.

Via Taylor Tannebaum of WTHR, Wentz is “throwing the kitchen sink” at the injury.

Jacob Eason had to come in against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday for the Colts after Wentz hobbled off. An interception right into the lap of Jalen Ramsey late in the 4th quarter sealed the fate of Indianapolis.

Following the game, Quenton Nelson put some of the responsibility on the offensive line.

“His toughness, shoot — all the times he’s gotten hit, all the times he’s gotten up? It’s on a different level. He hasn’t complained once. We need to be better up front … if we give him more time, he can play even better.”
The Colts have started a sluggish 0-2 on the season and desperately need a win in Week 3. It was already set to be a tough matchup on the road against the Tennessee Titans. Without Wentz, it would be an even tougher hill for Indianapolis to climb.

Wentz hasn't been ruled out for the Colts and if he's able to log a practice before the end of the week, it could bode well for his chances of playing against Tennessee. For now, the Colts will roll with Eason until Wentz is set to go.
