Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard can't easily be pushed around on the field. But that doesn't stop him from being bullied when off of it. Leonard claims that he was racially profiled while dining in a Chipotle restaurant in Florence, South Carolina.

He details the incident in a post on Instagram:

In his video, Leonard shares how he was simply enjoying a meal in the said restaurant with four other people of color, when he was approached by the manager of the Chipotle branch.

After a verbal exchange in which the manager claimed others have complained about their behavior, the Colts talent and his party ended up getting kicked out of the establishment.

He says that the manager displayed “terrible attitude” and was “very disrespectful” throughout the entire ordeal.

“That’s what being black in America is right now,” the Cols vet said. “Us not even doing anything wrong, going out to eat with your family, just trying to spend a little bit of quality time, and you can’t even enjoying eating anymore.”

The post immediately spread throughout social media. It eventually caught the attention of Chipotle's CEO Brian Niccol, who had this statement:

“We are currently investigating the incident involving Darius Leonard in Florence, South Carolina,” Chipotle CEO Brian Niccol said, via PFT transcription. “We have a zero tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind and we have suspended our manager while we conduct a thorough investigation. I’ve personally reached out to Darius and I’m committed to ensuring the appropriate action is taken once the investigation concludes.”
