You may have heard that Fox Sports talk-show host Colin Cowherd loves Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.

How much does he love him? Enough to say that Luck being great is every bit as debatable as to whether or not the Earth is flat (sorry, Kyrie):

Luck has certainly had a very impressive 2018 campaign, throwing for 4,593 yards, 39 touchdowns and 15 interceptions while completing 67.3 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 98.1.

He also led the Colts to a Wild Card Round victory over the Houston Texans, going 19-for-32 with 222 yards, two touchdowns and a pick.

Here is the thing, though: if you want to be called a “great” NFL quarterback, then your playoff track record needs to be pretty good, and that can't be said for Luck.

After his decent performance against the Texans, Luck has now played in seven playoff games, going 4-3 with 2,051 yards, 11 touchdowns and 13 interceptions while completing just 56.8 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 72.7.

You can spin it however you want, but those are not good numbers. As a matter of fact, they are pretty bad numbers.

Now, fortunately for Luck, he has plenty of time to add more chapters to his story. After all, he is just 29 years old, and this Colts team looks like it has the potential to be pretty good for quite some time.

But Cowherd should probably relax by saying that Luck being “great” isn't debatable, because it is. Is he very good? Yes. Great? Let's see him put up some better numbers in the postseason; then we'll talk.
