Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron wants to “stop thinking too much” after his drop filled game against the Oakland Raiders. He caught a touchdown pass on Sunday against the Raiders but that was overshadowed by three dropped passes.

Dropped passes were a big problem when Ebron when he was with the Detroit Lions, and it's a big reason the team decided to move on from him. Last season, Ebron had a career year and dropped passes weren't an issue, so it's a big concern they are starting to creep up again.

“I’ll just go back to being me,” Ebron said, via the IndyStar. “And stop thinking too much.”

Ebron said he didn't feel like himself last Sunday and he isn't quite sure why, but he knows it needs to change going forward.

“I just wasn’t myself last Sunday,” Ebron said. I kind of felt that way last week, and I let it linger into the game. Whatever it was is what it was, and good thing we’ve got like 20,000 more weeks left of football.”

Ebron admits that after the first drop it got into his head and he knows that isn't something going forward that can happen. Ebron said he will spend more time on the JUGS machine and Colts coach Frank Reich thinks a couple extra circuits could help him this week.

“You just continue to work on it,” Reich said. “If a guy has a dropped ball or two, it’s pretty normal for him just to kind of work himself through it and then maybe double up or triple up on a catch circuit and make sure he gets a few extra catches.”
