The Indianapolis Colts have made quite a few changes on offense this offseason. One of them has Frank Reich excited. Following the selection of Jonathan Taylor in the 2020 NFL Draft, Reich is amped about the Colts' new-look rushing attack.

“You have him and Marlon (Mack) doing that together and then running behind our offensive line,” Reich said, via Jim Ayello of the Indianapolis Star. “You get that one-two punch. You get . . . even more excited about the play-action game. You get even more excited about — we did a pretty good job last year on explosive runs, but how many more are we going to have? What does that mean to the offense? How do we use that to set things up? How does that take the pressure off the defense? Those are all things that we get real excited about.”

There's no mistaking the fact that the Colts have arguably the best offensive line in the NFL. At the same time, they deploy Marlon Mack at running back, who just rushed for 1,091 yards in 2019.

Recently, Reich expressed his confidence in Philip Rivers to perform well next season despite being near the end of his career. Besides having confidence in Rivers, Reich is elated to see the team's new backfield duo opens everything up on offense.
