It's safe to say Frank Reich has high, high expectations for his team's offense in 2019. After the draft, the Indianapolis Colts coach expressed hopeful incredulity about adding Ohio State wide receiver Parris Campbell to an attack that he believes already features “some of the best guys in the world.”

“It’s funny, I have said this to you guys before, but as a coach you always feel you so much love the guys you work with that I always think, ‘Hey, we don’t need anybody else. We already got the best guys in the world playing for us,'” Reich said, per the team's website. “And then all of a sudden, now you’re giving us more? This isn’t fair. It’s not going to be fair.

“And then you get a guy that runs 4.31 and you just say, ‘It’s going to be fun to see these guys work together.'”

The Colts selected Campbell with the 59th overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft. A three-year contributor with the Buckeyes, he broke out in a big way as a senior, finishing the 2018 season with 90 catches for 1,063 yards and 12 touchdowns, all easy personal-bests. Campbell was also one of the most impressive performers at the NFL Combine, running a 4.31 40-yard dash, leaping 40 inches in the vertical jump, and reaching 135 inches in the broad jump – all top-five marks at his position.

Indianapolis, by the way, ranked fifth in points per game and seventh in total yards last season. Franchise quarterback Andrew Luck, after missing of the 2017 season with injury, put together arguably the finest campaign of his career, finishing with 4,593 yards passing, 39 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions.
