The Indianapolis Colts are looking to get back into the win column at home against the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. It appears they will have to do it without wide receiver T.Y. Hilton.

Hilton was sidelined with a calf injury during the 26-24 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9. Head coach Frank Reich indicated that he may have to miss his second straight game, via George Bremer of CNHI:

Frank Reich says T.Y. Hilton won’t practice today. But he has not yet ruled him out for Sunday’s game. It’s unlikely he’ll play but, “I don’t ever want to count him out until we absolutely have to.”

Despite Reich's hesitance, it is safe to assume that Hilton will not be able to play given the update. Meanwhile, quarterback Jacoby Brissett is still listed as day-to-day after suffering an MCL sprain last week. The prospect of either one of them not being able to play undoubtedly deals a crushing blow to the passing game.

Hilton's absence was heavily felt in the loss against Pittsburgh. Although wide receiver Zach Pascal managed to pick up the slack in his absence, it was still not enough to secure a late victory. As a result, Indianapolis could opt to feature yet another run-heavy approach behind running back Marlon Mack.

While the injury to Hilton leaves a notable void in the receiving corps, the Colts will need to take every precaution they can to ensure he is good to go down the final stretch. Fortunately, they should be able to get by for another week with a favorable matchup against a Dolphins team that is coming off its first win of the 2019 NFL season.
