The Indianapolis Colts have waived safety Rolan Milligan, according to the team.

Milligan did not play in a single game for the Colts this season, spending most of the 2018 campaign on Indianapolis' practice squad.

The 24-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Toledo, went undrafted but was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent in May 2016.

He remained with the Cowboys through that summer before being cut shortly before the season started.

Milligan then signed with the Detroit Lions in February 2017 and ended up spending a good portion of that ensuing season on the Lions' practice squad .

He remained with Detroit through 2018 before the Lions finally parted ways with him this past October. That was when the Colts decided to give him a chance.

Milligan is yet to play in an actual NFL game in his three-year career.

The Colts enter the weekend with a record of 9-6 and will head on the road to battle the Tennessee Titans in an AFC South showdown to determine who nabs the final Wild Card spot in the AFC.
