Jacoby Brissett and the Indianapolis Colts were looking like they were putting together a solid season just a few short weeks ago, but things have changed. Following their disappointing loss to the Tennessee Titans this week, the Colts fell to 6-6 on the season. Due to that record, their playoff hopes are close to being over.

According to a statistic shared by Seth Walder of ESPN Analytics, the Colts only have a 13 percent chance to make the playoffs this season after their loss to the Titans.

The Colts have faced a ton of adversity this season, starting before the regular season even began. After making a run last season to the divisional round of the playoffs, many thought they would be Super Bowl contenders this year. Unfortunately, those hopes were all but dashed when Andrew Luck shockingly decided to retire during the preseason.

Chris Ballard has done his best to build a championship contender, but no one could have foreseen Luck's decision. It didn't end their playoff hopes, but it certainly hurt them.

Brissett and company have a bright future ahead of them, but the playoffs this season appear to be nearly out of reach. There is still a chance, but it would take a miracle.

All of that being said, it will be interesting to see what the Colts do in the offseason. They still have a ton of money to spend and should have a fairly decent pick, depending on how the rest of their regular season goes. Missing the playoffs is always a disappointment, but there is still reason for optimism in Indianapolis.
