The Indianapolis Colts have quickly sorted through their entire head coaching dilemma with the hiring of Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich.

And according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Colts are wasting little time in intensifying the search for their next offensive coordinator. The team is set to interview Los Angeles Chargers wide receivers coach Nick Sirianni, who is considered a top candidate for the job.

Sirianni has worked his way through the NFL as a coach since first latching on with the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2009 season as offensive quality control coach. He stayed with the organization for four seasons also holding the positions of assistant quarterbacks coach, and wide receivers coach.

Sirianni left the Chiefs in 2013 to join the Chargers, where he coached alongside Reich. He started out as the offensive quality control coach while holding the positions of quarterbacks coach and wide receivers coach. He has held the latter position with the team for the last two years.

Another name that has also been recently mentioned for the open spot has been former Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. The 48-year-old was expected to interview for the position prior to the entire ordeal with Josh McDaniels panned out. Bevell has plenty of experience in the position having held that job with the Seahawks over the last seven years.

The potential opportunity to work with Pro Bowl quarterback Andrew Luck could be an appealing situation that could spark plenty of interest. Luck is currently working his way back from a surgically-repaired right shoulder from a labrum. There have been a few setbacks in the recovery process that forced him to miss the entire 2017 season.

Nonetheless, Luck could finally be the right track to getting back on the field and make the Colts a formidable team in the AFC South. This should make the hiring process for the offensive coordinator a critical decision that could have a major impact on the team in 2018 and possibly beyond that.
