The Indianapolis Colts are quickly falling out of the playoff race and running back Nyheim Hines thinks the blame lies on the offense. Each of the last two weeks the Colts have only scored 17 points and that has led to two straight losses.

“Offensively, I feel like we’ve been letting the defense down,” running back Nyheim Hines said via the Indy Star. “It seems like the games we’ve lost, the defense played well, and as an offense we haven’t bailed them out.”

One of the main issues for the offense has been injuries. Andrew Luck hung up the cleats before the season and Marlon Mack, T.Y. Hilton, Eric Ebron, Devin Funchess, and Parris Campbell all were sidelined for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.

The loss to the Titans dropped the Colts to 6-6 on the season, which currently ranks third in the AFC South. Even though their backs are against the wall, middle linebacker Anthony Walker has faith the team can right the ship.

“We’re not out of it, we’re not of the fight, we all know that we have men of character in this room that are going to continue to battle,” middle linebacker Anthony Walker said. “You have guys on this team that you know, when they’re backed into a corner, they’re going to fight their way out of it.”

The Colts' next game is against a suddenly surging Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad and if they want any chance to make the playoffs they are going to need a win. The offense is going to need to figure it out quickly.
