The Indianapolis Colts made a big splash on Monday, acquiring Matt Ryan in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons. The move will see Ryan take over as the starting QB in Indy, and prompted an excited reaction from one free-agent wide receiver. Odell Beckham Jr. has high expectations for Ryan in Indianapolis and took to Twitter to share his reaction on the Colts landing the former MVP.

Beckham loves the Colts' decision to trade for Ryan, and thinks that he will “elevate and do sum special over there.” While Ryan hasn't been at the top of his game for the past few seasons, he's proven in the past to be an extremely talented quarterback and a solid leader, a trait the Colts were keen on their new quarterback having.

With OBJ still a free agent, perhaps him gassing up Indy's acquisition of Ryan could open the door for him to join up with the team. Of course, he's still working his way back from a torn ACL he suffered in the Super Bowl, but as he showed in his resurgence with the Rams last year, he can still be a game-changer on offense.

The Colts could also use a boost at wide receiver. As it stands, the top two receiving threats in Indy are Michael Pittman and the oft-injured veteran T.Y. Hilton. Adding Beckham to the mix could be a big boost for the Colts, who have a plethora of money to spend this offseason.

For now, OBJ is focused on his recovery, but that didn't prevent him from taking some time to shout out Ryan ahead of his big move to Indianapolis.
