For a long time, it seemed like T.Y. Hilton was the Indianapolis Colts' only consistent playmaker. After tight end Eric Ebron's breakout 2018 campaign and the addition of uber-gifted second-round wide receiver Parris Campbell, the Colts suddenly boast one of the most impressive collections of skill-position talent in the AFC, ensuring that defenses won't have the luxury of paying extra attention to Indianapolis' speedy veteran wide receiver. And if the explosive nature of Hilton's performance last season is any indication, he's primed to take devastating advantage of that reality in 2019.

Last year, Hilton accrued 30 catches of at least 15 yards or more, according to Pro Football Focus, the 10th-most in the NFL.

That big-play ability speaks to the increased efficiency that made his 2018 campaign arguably the finest of his standout career.

T.Y. Hilton had 76 catches for 1,270 yards and six touchdowns, notching career-highs by hauling in 63.3 percent of his targets and averaging 10.6 yards per pass headed his way. Obviously, the return of Andrew Luck played a big part in Hilton's improvement compared to 2017, but so too did the addition of Ebron, who suddenly emerged as one of football's most dangerous red-zone targets with 13 touchdown catches, second-most in the league.

With Luck getting a full offseason of training, Ebron becoming even more comfortable in Indianapolis' offense, and young playmakers like Campbell poised to make an immediate impact, the Colts could have one of the most dangerous offenses in the NFL this season. And even if Hilton's raw numbers take a hit as a result of more surrounding talent, his fingerprints will undoubtedly be all over Indianapolis' success.
