T.Y. Hilton could return to the Indianapolis Colts' lineup on Monday, for their bout with the New Orleans Saints on “Monday Night Football.” On Saturday, Indy flagged Hilton as a game-time decision for the prime time spectacle.

Hilton suffered a non-contact injury in practice on Oct. 30. He missed the next three games, only to re-enter the lineup on “Thursday Night Football.” He has not played since his underwhelming performance against the Houston Texans in the short-week.

On Nov. 28, it was announced that Hilton suffered a setback in the recovery from the injury. He was week-to-week but ultimately did not play in two straight losses to the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, respectively.

The Colts are playing it safe with Hilton's injury. He was not quite ready to play in the loss to the Texans. Indianapolis feels better about Hilton entering Week 15.

“We’ve kind of been down this road before (and) he wasn’t there,” said Colts coach Frank Reich on Saturday, via Mike Chappell of FOX 59. We just want to feel good about it. We just want to do the right thing and make sure he feels right, and we feel like he’s good.’’

A four-time Pro Bowler, Hilton adds dynamic speed to the Colts' offense. In seven games through 2019, he has 35 receptions for 378 yards and five touchdowns. Last year, he recorded 76 catches for 1,270 yards and six touchdowns.

If out on Monday, the Colts will emphasize Zach Pascal, Marcus Johnson, Chad Williams, Ashton Dulin and Dontrelle Inman as their pass-catchers against New Orleans.
