There are plenty of reasons for Indianapolis Colts players to be grumpy. Their team is embracing the bottom spot of the AFC South standings with a 2-6 record plus they haven’t won in any of their last three outings. All those things are not making Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton happy either, especially after Indy took a gut-wrenching 24-23 loss to Cincinnati last Sunday.

The last things Hilton probably would like to hear from reporters following the loss was rumors of his discontent of playing for Indianapolis and that of the Colts intending to ship him somewhere else at the trade deadline.

But those are exactly the nature of questions he fielded Sunday, prompting him to pull off a Cam Newton by prematurely ending the interviews, per Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star.

The Colts are having trouble on almost every front. Their offense often fails to take off largely because of the absence of Andrew Luck and the poor play of Indianapolis’ offensive line that has allowed the most sacks this season. The team’s defense is the worst in the NFL with 30.8 points allowed per game.

Thanks to the Colts’ struggles, Hilton has become a hot target by other teams eager to add a deadly offensive weapon to their fold, though Indianapolis has a high asking price for those interested according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

T.Y. Hilton, who has 527 receiving yards and a touchdown this year, is under contract with the Colts until 2021.

The trade deadline is Tuesday at 4 Eastern. We'll find out who is tricking and what teams are treating just in time for you to give out some candy.
