Most believed T.Y. Hilton was a tough dude, but what he went through this season proves just how tough the Indianapolis Colts star wide receiver really is. He played late in the season with a two-inch tear in his calf, per Anthony Calhoun of WISH-TV,

Even after the Colts were eliminated from playoff contention, Hilton made it clear he doesn't quit on his team and continued to play through the pain.

After the Colts' blowout loss on Sunday to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Hilton didn't think the team wasn't looking his way enough the last month of the season. Colts coach Frank Reich took some of the responsibility for that and said next season that needs to change.

“T.Y.’s a guy, I know when we’re winning games, he’s the major contributor,” Reich said, via the Indy Star. “That’s our responsibility, to get him involved and get him going.”

Even with injuries, Hilton finished the season catching 45 passes for 501 yards and five touchdowns. He knows that he needs to be healthy heading into next season because of the fact that the Colts are a lot better when he is on the field at full speed.

Hilton was sidelined due to injury for six games this season and it's probably the greatest factor aside from Andrew Luck's retirement that kept the Colts out of the playoffs. Injuries are something that can't be controlled, but if Hilton can help it, he needs to be on the field more to help Indianapolis make it back into the postseason in 2020.
