Tom Brady had his fair share of matchups with Tony Dungy and the Indianapolis Colts during his time with the New England Patriots. After Dungy downplayed having to face Brady, the future Hall of Fame quarterback had a savage response for the former NFL head coach.

When Brady was with the Patriots, it was almost a guarantee that he'd be playing in the AFC Championship Game. And whether it was the conference title game or another playoff matchup, he sometimes found himself facing the Colts.

The quarterbacks that Dungy listed above Brady—who is still performing well—were Aaron Rodgers, John Elway, and Steve Young. He reasoned that all of them were more mobile than the 43-year-old quarterback.

Of course, we know that Brady has the most Super Bowl rings among all quarterbacks in NFL history. Altogether, in his career, Brady posted a 2-1 record in the playoffs against the Colts while Dungy was the franchise's head coach.

Given that, Brady was one of the many reasons why Indianapolis—with Dungy and Peyton Manning—were unable to make more Super Bowls. When it was all said and done, the Colts were only able to win one Super Bowl with the duo of Dungy and Manning despite having talented rosters.

Tom Brady was a roadblock in the AFC for two decades with the Patriots, preventing other teams from having chances to win Lombardi trophies. While Dungy believes it was tougher to face other quarterbacks, Brady wasn't going to let him speak his mind without him taking a jab back.
