The Indianapolis Colts are struggling on offense on Sunday, but their defense is attempting to give them some life. With the Baltimore Ravens inside the five-yard line, the Colts recovered a fumble and nearly scored following a lateral from Darius Leonard.

With first and goal, the Ravens handed the ball off to Gus Edwards up the middle. Edwards would proceed to lose possession of the ball, allowing Leonard to pick it up and begin advancing up the field for the Colts.

But after he picked it up, Leonard never seemed to have full control of it and the ball was thrust into the air in an inadvertent lateral. Luckily, another Colts defender would catch the ball in the air and would nearly have a path to score.

Even though Leonard never didn't seem to toss the ball on purpose, his loss of control on the ball almost led to a score the other way for the Colts.
