Former Georgia Bulldog and current Indianapolis Colts placekicker Rodrigo Blankenship proved exactly why he belongs on the world's biggest stage on Sunday afternoon against the Green Bay Packers. With this matchup knotted at 31 points apiece midway through overtime, Blankenship split the uprights from just under 40 yards out to give the Colts a much-needed win at home.

As a result of the Blankenship game-winning field goal in overtime, the Colts remain atop the AFC South standings for at least another week.

Blankenship's clutch, game-winning OT field goal came moments after Packers pass-catcher Marquez Valdes-Scantling fumbled four plays earlier, setting up the kick.

After defeating the rival Tennessee Titans on the road just a week ago, the Colts have now followed up such a victory with yet another over the Packers.

However, things won't get any easier in Indianapolis as the aforementioned Titans will come to town next week. The Titans and Colts currently own identical 7-3 records with Tennessee beating the Ravens on Sunday as Indianapolis presently holds the pivotal tiebreaker heading into Week 12.
