Conor McGregor is no stranger to making outlandish statements and making excuses. The former two-division UFC champion has been very vocal throughout his career.

His fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov showed the extreme side that comes with some of the talking. Although most of the time things are settled in the cage.

Conor McGregor recently made a surprising revelation about his MMA and UFC career. It turns out he has not been completely healthy since 2013.

“I became a master at fighting on one leg since my acl reconstruction in 2013. I won all my ufc world titles on one leg. It’s why I was able to maneuver thru the fight even tho it was snapped, and not bear weight fully until the very last seconds of the round.”

The injury came in his 2013 UFC bout against Max Holloway. Conor McGregor suffered an ACL injury and was forced to wrestle in order to win the fight and stay off of his injured leg.

He's had trouble with it throughout his career and even tore it again in the lead-up to the Chad Mendes fight at UFC 187. He claims he couldn't even walk a few weeks before the fight.

Conor McGregor's legs have given him more trouble in the UFC as he hurt his leg in the second fight against Dustin Poirier. He would also break his leg in the trilogy fight just months later.

It will be interesting to see if Conor McGregor can ever return to full health and move like he wants to. For someone on one leg, he's had a pretty good career.
