Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and wideout Amari Cooper were the first ones to offer motivational words to the team after their loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite the heartbreaking 31-29 loss against the defending Super Bowl champs, both Prescott and Cooper shrugged off the loss and chose to stay the course as they start their 2021 NFL season with a defeat.

After the game, Prescott had a stern warning to the reigning five-time Super Bowl MVP in Tom Brady after their incredible QB duel. The two-time Pro Bowler mentioned that he told Brady that they'll see each other again and that his confidence in this season's squad is unmatched.

“That's just the confidence I have in this group,” Prescott said (via Jon Machota of The Athletic). “The expectations are high. This is a playoff team. We're gonna make a big push this year.”

Prescott had an impressive return to the gridiron for the Cowboys after missing almost an entire calendar year due to a gruesome ankle injury last season. He threw for 403 yards and scored three touchdowns in Thursday's loss which only goes to show that the former Offensive ROTY is definitely on track for another stellar season.

Another person who played like a beast on Thursday was Prescott's main wide receiever target in Amari Cooper. The four-time Pro Bowler caught two touchdowns from the QB and echoed what Prescott mentioned after the loss.

“We have a high-powered offense but a high-powered offense doesn't guarantee wins. We have a lot to clean up.” Cooper said.

The 0-1 start isn't the most ideal beginning for the Dallas Cowboys but with Dak Prescott and the likes of Amari Cooper leading the way, look for this squad to bounce back strong.
