Cowboys’ defense records fumble for touchdown on Daniel Jones

New York Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones has his fair share of plus traits. However, he also has some areas he must improve on. One of those areas is his ability to hold onto the ball when he drops back. He can’t. The Dallas Cowboys defense took advantage of that on Monday.

In the final moments of Monday night’s divisional tilt, the Cowboys were able to create their second forced fumble on Jones. They didn’t need an extra six points, but when the ball came barrelling out of his hands, cornerback Jourdan Lewis couldn’t help but get the rare defensive touchdown. Watch below.

That’s one way to win a football game on the road. It’s also one way to make a win look much more like a blowout than it actually was. The Giants kept it close, but, ultimately, the mistakes caught up to them.
