The Dallas Cowboys have made some drastic changes over the course of the NFL offseason thus far. The team has a revamped receiving corps with Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, Brice Butler, and Ryan Switzer all leaving the team in one way or another this year.

Although there's been an overhaul of sorts in Dallas, the team was able to add a talented wideout in the form of Allen Hurns in NFL free agency, and he's already made an impression on his new team. The former Jacksonville Jaguars standout has reportedly secured the No. 1 spot at wide receiver for the Cowboys, according to Marcus Mosher of Bleacher Report.

Hurns will have some big shoes to fill in Dallas as he'll be following in the footsteps of Bryant who was the team's top option at receiver since he was drafted in 2010. Not having Witten at tight end will also put that much more pressure on the newcomer as he could face a lot of double teams right out of the gate in his first season with the Cowboys.

Along with the pressure of performing in Dallas, Hurns has also had his fair share of injuries issues over the years. Hurns has only played in one full season in the NFL thus far and only started in eight of the 16 games he played in his rookie campaign with the Jaguars.

However, Hurns is a talented wideout and could prove to be a viable option for Dak Prescott and company in the passing game if he's able to stay healthy and productive. It'll be an interesting year in Dallas in the post-Bryant and Witten era.
