The Dallas Cowboys will be looking for a bounce-back campaign with Dak Prescott back and healthy following an injury-riddled 2020. While the play of their QB is undoubtedly important, Amari Cooper will need to be one of Prescott's most effective targets. Well, if you're asking the wideout, he's already one of the best players at his position in the entire NFL. Via the Dallas Morning News:

“I think I’m the best receiver in the league,” Cooper said Monday afternoon. “But there’s a difference between thinking you’re the best and actually going out there and proving it.

“Do I think I’m the best? Yes. Have I proven it?

“I wouldn’t say I have.”

Bold from the Cowboys wide receiver. Based on the numbers, he's definitely not at the level he believes. Cooper has been very consistent, averaging 74.8 receptions in six seasons, and has racked up more than 1,000 yards on five occasions. However, he's yet to have a monster year.

In 2020, the Cowboys star ranked 11th in the league in receptions with 92. But, he does realize that his numbers have to be at a much more superior level in order to be considered the best around:

“There are guys who have actually put up some great numbers. They’ve taken advantage of their opportunities and stuff like that,” Cooper said. “I’m just still trying to take advantage of my opportunities and trying to put up those numbers to lead the league in yards, touchdowns, all across the board really.”

Clearly, Amari Cooper is poised to prove his worth. Hopefully, that translates into a big season for the Cowboys in 2021.
