Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is not the most outspoken player in the league. It seems that is for good reason.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding Cooper's reserved nature. According to Kate Hairopoulos of the Dallas Morning News, he does not plan on changing any time soon:

“I want to be the best receiver to play the game,” he said earlier this season. “I don't know how people want to see that lived out in my life. … As far as personality-wise, I'm not going to change who I am.”

Wide receivers are known for being some of the most outspoken players on the field. In fact, it is almost customary for wideouts to make their opinions both on and off the field. Although Cooper may not be as vocal as some of the other players at his position, it is clear that he is not short of confidence.

Cooper has done a marvelous job of letting his play do the talking for him. He got off to a slow start to the 2018 NFL season while he was still with the Oakland Raiders, however, he enjoyed quite the resurgence after being traded to Dallas. He registered 53 receptions for 725 yards and six touchdowns in nine games with the Cowboys this season.

Cooper will never be the type to brag about his exploits or complain about not getting enough looks. Fortunately, it seems he does not have to after reminding the league why he was once touted as one of the most promising wideouts in the NFL thanks to his tremendous target share in Dallas.
