Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is still dealing with a lingering ankle issue and was limited in practice on Wednesday as a result, according to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

Of course, Cooper is saying he is just fine.

“They’re healing up,” Cooper said Wednesday, referring to the ankle and foot injuries that have bothered him all season long. “I’m healthy enough to go out there and perform.”

Cooper logged five catches for 48 yards during the Cowboys' loss to the New Orleans Saints this past Sunday, and on the season overall, he has caught 21 passes for 286 yards and four touchdowns.

The 25-year-old added that he doesn't think the injuries have had a significant effect on his performance.

“It depends on where I’m at. You know what I’m saying?” Cooper said. “If I’m like 75 percent, which I haven’t been since Week One. I’ve always been over that. So I think I’ve always been good enough to go out there and do my job.”

Cooper is in his first full season with Dallas after coming over in a trade with the Oakland Raiders midway through the 2018 campaign. In nine games with the Cowboys last year, he snared 53 balls for 725 yards and six scores, and for the entire season, he hauled in 75 receptions for 1,005 yards while reaching the end zone seven times, making the Pro Bowl.

The Miami native made the Pro Bowl in each of his first two seasons with the Raiders.

Dallas has gotten off to a 3-1 start and is looking to bounce back from an anemic offensive output in which it scored just 10 points.
