The Dallas Cowboys went 8-8 in 2019 and missed the playoffs. However, it looks like the season is not over just yet for two more players.

According to Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.com, wide receiver Amari Cooper and linebacker Jaylon Smith have been added to the Pro Bowl rosters.

Those two are replacing Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans and Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly.

Cooper had arguably his best year in the NFL in 2019 for the Cowboys and is set to hit free agency this offseason. He racked up 79 receptions (second-most he's ever had in a season) for career-bests in yards (1,189) and touchdowns (8).

Meanwhile, Smith had an incredible season and is quickly becoming one of the best and most complete linebackers in all of football. He posted a career-high in tackles with 142. Smith also had 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He also had his first career interception and set a new career-high with nine pass deflections.

It's hard to argue with either of these two additions to the Pro Bowl. Both players are more than deserving of the nod, and additionally, are two players that a lot of people would enjoy seeing in the showcase game.

Expect to see a lot more replacements over the next few weeks. With injuries and players in the postseason not wanting the extra game, there will be tons of moves. First off, any players on the Super Bowl teams will be out, and a lot of players in the Championship games tend to sit out as well.

Due to that, these certainly are not the last of the new additions to the team. So if there is someone you felt has been snubbed or deserved it more than Cooper or Smith, no need to fear. They will have plenty of opportunities to be added over the coming weeks.
