It remains to be seen if the Dallas Cowboys view Amari Cooper as part of their plans for the future, but he'd be interested in returning. Ahead of his impending free agency, Cooper reacted to the possibility of Dez Bryant returning to Dallas:

“I think it would be great,” Cooper said via 105.3 The Fan. “Obviously, Dez is a great player. When I was in college and even in my first couple of years in the league, he was still considered one of the top-five receivers in the game. I don't think that's something you just lose, especially with the way Dez's game is. He's one of those guys who goes up and attacks the ball. I think he still has that.

Bryant, who hasn't played in an NFL game since 2017, is itching to make a comeback to the NFL. While speaking about the teams he'd be interested in signing with, Bryant declared a reunion with the Cowboys would be his ideal choice.

On the other hand, Cooper has been vocal about wanting to finish his career in Dallas. But with the Cowboys needing to re-sign Dak Prescott and others, there's a chance he's playing elsewhere next season.

Of course, Cooper would love for Bryant to return to the Cowboys and be a difference-maker for the offense. At the same time, he would prefer to remain in Dallas to get the opportunity to play alongside Bryant.

Depending on what Dallas chooses to do in free agency, Cooper could have his wish granted in the coming months. There's no doubt that Cowboys fans would welcome a trio of Cooper, Bryant, and Michael Gallup for the 2020 season.
