Although now a member of the heralded Dallas Cowboys, former Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Amari Cooper notably broke into the NFL ranks as a member of the Oakland Raiders. While coming off the board to the Raiders at No. 4 overall back in 2014, Cooper was then traded from Oakland to Dallas midway through the 2018-19 regular season.

During his collegiate playing days, Cooper, of course, played for the infamous Nick Saban, who has become a legend as a result of his tenure as the Alabama head coach. Because of Saban's legendary legacy, Cooper recently recounted his most memorable moment under the direction of the Crimson Tide leader.

To absolutely no one's surprise, Cooper pointed out that at 17 years old, he made a defender fall right in front of Saban, who was obviously more than impressed.

“It was right in front of Coach Saban. He just came up to me and took off his hat and shook my hand. I got an offer that day.”

Cooper and the Cowboys will now look to repeat as NFC East champions in 2019. With the rival Philadelphia Eagles winning a Super Bowl title just a few years ago, the Cowboys are now looking to add yet another title to their trophy case as well.

However, Philadelphia appears primed for yet another memorable season themselves as repeating as NFC East champions won't come easy for the Cowboys. It is also worth noting that both the New York Giants and Washington Redskins are not expected to compete whatsoever in 2019.
