The Dallas Cowboys have made numerous changes to the roster as the front office has regained some of its cap space. After trading away Amari Cooper, the offense could take a hit in production. However, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb aims to make some noise now that he is the top pass option for Dak Prescott.

According to Around The NFL, CeeDee Lamb is confident and ready to take over the starting wide receiver role in Dallas. After being asked if he's ready to play in Amari Cooper's former spot, Lamb uttered just three words, “I've been ready.” If that's not enough to fire up Cowboys fans then I don't know what is.

Lamb is more than ready to play in the 2022 season. After spending his first two seasons playing second-fiddle to Cooper, the young star aims to turn heads and prove he's the better option in general. The Cowboys' star elaborates on what it means to be the new top receiver in Dallas, per Around The NFL. “It's a dream that I've always wanted to live and now that I'm actually living it, I feel like it's my opportunity to fulfill it. So I'm looking at it as an opportunity.”

We'll see how he handles the lead role. So far, Lamb has been an ideal second option in the Cowboys' offense. He's flashed some talent in the first two years of his career, as his potential is through the roof. Dallas is in for a fun season, as the front office did a great job in establishing a more well-balanced roster in the offseason. Keep an eye on CeeDee Lamb, as he should be in for a big year in 2022.
