The Dallas Cowboys picked up a huge win over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday night, but it wasn't all good news following the victory. Wide receiver Cole Beasley, who leads the Cowboys with 468 receiving yards this season, reportedly suffered a sprained ankle in the game, according to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News.

From Moore:

The Cowboys slot receiver sprained his foot while making a key reception on third-and-five in the final six minutes of the team's 13-10 win over the Saints. Beasley was able to return but the foot clearly bothered him.

A source said Beasley may be able to play against Philadelphia on Dec. 9 but should be regarded as week-to-week at this stage. Expect him to be limited when the Cowboys return to the practice field next week.

Beasley finished with two receptions for nine yards in the victory against the Saints. In addition to leading the team in yards, he is second in receptions with 48 and has had four or more targets in eight games this season.

Adding Amari Cooper to the mix has certainly helped add plenty of depth to the Dallas receiving unit, but there's no doubt Beasley will continue to be an important piece of the puzzle. Of course, the good news is that a Thursday night game allows Beasley a little extra time off to recover.

The home matchup against the Eagles on Dec. 9 will be an important one for Jason Garrett's team as they look to stay ahead of the pack in the NFC East race.
