Todd France, the agent of Dallas Cowboys gunslinger Dak Prescott, is currently celebrating after getting his client the elusive deal he's been trying to garner in recent years. But after getting Prescott a long-term deal with the Cowboys, he sent a subtle message to the agent of Russell Wilson.

“There's so many things wrong with it, I guess, on different levels,” said France to Adam Schein on his CBS Sports show “Time to Schein.”

France's statement on “Time to Schein” was a shot at Wilson's agent, Mark Rodgers, after Rodgers made it clear that Wilson would waive his no-trade clause for one of four teams. The Cowboys were among those teams, which caused some controversy as Prescott was attempting to come to an agreement with Dallas.

Wilson made headlines earlier this offseason when he publicly called out the Seattle Seahawks for their lack of an effort to protect him. The Seahawks are reportedly upset about how Wilson and his camp have handled the situation, leading some to believe that Wilson isn't off limits moving forward.

While Rodgers was attempting to use the Cowboys as a ploy to get Wilson some leverage on the Seahawks, it hampered the conversation around Prescott. Given that, France wasn't fond of Rodgers doing that despite finalizing a contract for Prescott anyways.

What France can say about his client more than Rodgers can say about his is that Prescott is in a situation where he'll be valued by the organization. On the other hand, Rodgers will now have to use other teams not named the Cowboys to try and get Wilson more control in Seattle.
