After missing the NFL playoffs last season, the Dallas Cowboys are determined to bounce back in 2018. Dak Prescott and company are motivated and ready to face what's ahead for America's Team even after the unexpected departures of Jason Witten and Dez Bryant this offseason.

Prescott recently talked about this current Cowboys squad and what he expects heading into next season. The young quarterback appears as confident as ever in his team despite all the changes and newcomers around him this time around, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.

“We’re going to be an exciting team this year,” Prescott said on Showtime. “A lot of new faces. I think you’re going to find we have a lot of new guys on this team, within this organization, that can make plays. We plan on surprising a lot of people.”

The losses of Witten and Bryant are bound to take a toll on the storied franchise as they move forward without them. However, star running back Ezekiel Elliott no longer has to deal with the cloud of uncertainty hanging over his head because of the suspension he served and Prescott is clearly motivated about the upcoming season.

It remains to be seen how the new faces for the Cowboys work out in Dallas. Only time will tell if the right moves were made during this NFL offseason, but there's no doubting that Jerry Jones' team will be one to watch once again as they try to get back to form as a legitimate playoff contender in the NFL once again.
