Only two preseason games remain for the Dallas Cowboys. America's Team will square off against the Oakland Raiders on Saturday at AT&T Stadium and finish their preseason campaign against the Houston Texans on Aug. 31.

Second-year quarterback Dak Prescott, however, is anxious to get the regular season underway. Prescott has had enough of preseason play and claims the team is ready to go, via ESPN's Todd Archer.

“I mean, I’m ready,” Prescott said. “That’s all come from camp and just preparing. Obviously it’s going to be good and it’ll be helpful to take more reps in this upcoming game, kind of get a whole half or whatever it is the coaches decide we get to get going and get into that game tempo, get that game conditioning. But mentally, I know this offense is and the team is physically, we’re ready to go.”

In Week 1 of the regular season, the Cowboys will go head-to-head against the division rival New York Giants once again. Unlike last year, Dallas will hope to get off to a quick start with a win against Eli Manning and company.

Unfortunately for Dallas, the team will be without star running back Ezekiel Elliott for the first six weeks of the season. The Cowboys will turn to Darren McFadden as their starter coming out of the backfield to begin the 2017 campaign and may look to Prescott and Dez Bryant to shoulder the load offensively with an aerial attack.

In the meantime, the Cowboys will focus on rounding out the roster in preparation for the regular-season opener against Giants on Sept. 10.
