The Dallas Cowboys have shown interest in adding another wide receiver this offseason. They could achieve that by completing a trade with another team.

According to Sports Illustrated's Mike Fisher, the Cowboys are eyeing trades for wide receivers Christian Kirk or Marquise Goodwin.

Earlier this offseason, the Cowboys were able to re-sign Amari Cooper, inking him to a five-year, $100 million contract. With Cooper returning, Dallas currently boasts a receiving corps of him and Michael Gallup.

Besides Cooper and Gallup, the Cowboys don't have many wide receivers that have shown potential in the NFL. Given that, it would make sense for Dallas to add another receiver, whether it be in free agency, the 2020 NFL Draft, or by way of a trade.

There haven't been any signs pointing to the Arizona Cardinals showing interest in trading Kirk. However, with the acquisition of DeAndre Hopkins, the Cardinals could be interested in a trade for the right price. Not to mention, Andy Isabella could see an increased role with Arizona in 2020.

Kirk would definitely give Dallas a formidable slot receiver that can stretch the field vertically. Even though he's averaged just 11.7 yards per reception in his career, Kirk is more than capable of being a deep threat.

As for Goodwin, he's always been known as a speedster that can take the top off of a defense, averaging 16.6 yards per reception in his career. After dealing with injuries in his past two seasons, the San Francisco 49ers have been open to dealing Goodwin this offseason.

The Cowboys realize that they need to add another wide receiver to their offense at some point this offseason. Regardless of whether they take one in the draft, Dallas is keeping close tabs on Kirk and Goodwin.
