The Dallas Cowboys have looked really good over the first couple of weeks of the season. The Miami Dolphins have, well, not.

The two teams are set to battle at AT&T Stadium next week, and the Cowboys are currently favored by 20.5 points in the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.

While that number may seem absolutely ridiculous, let's keep in mind that the Dolphins have been outscored 102-10 over the first two weeks of the year, most recently losing to the New England Patriots by a score of 43-0 on Sunday.

It was widely accepted that Miami would be the worst team in the NFL coming into this season, and when the Dolphins traded a couple of key players before the start of the 2019 campaign, people immediately assumed they were tanking.

Miami has denied that, but regardless of whether the Dolphins are tanking or not, they look like they have a legitimate chance of going 0-16.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are coming off of a 31-21 win over the Washington Redskins, and in Week 1, they thumped the New York Giants by a score of 35-17.

Dallas was considered by some to be a darkhorse Super Bowl contender this summer, and now that everyone has seen the Cowboys in action, there are some who are even wondering if they could be the best team in the NFC.

It's probably still too early for that, but Dallas certainly looks like a legitimate threat, and Miami definitely doesn't look like a competent football team.

Taking all of that into consideration, it's no wonder the Cowboys are favored by that much at home.
