The Dallas Cowboys are looking forward to the 2021 season and release a hype video, only thing is one person is missing in it: Dak Prescott.

Perhaps the Cowboys didn’t realize it, but that seems unlikely. Prescott missed most of the year after a horrific ankle injury that took two surgeries to repair and rumors have been released that Dallas intends on bringing him back.

The Cowboys missed Prescott after he got injured, as Ezekiel Elliott’s production went down, and backup quarterback Andy Dalton couldn’t replicate the success that Prescott has had in recent years.

Still, the fact they left him out of the video seems surprising, and Max Kellerman gave his takes on it on ESPN’s “First Take.”

Kellerman’s right and this video might not sit well with Prescott as he is set to hit the market unless he signs with Dallas before then. He threw for 4,902 yards and 30 touchdowns in 2019 and was looking to bring the Cowboys back to the playoffs before he got injured five games in.

He threw for just under 2,000 yards and nine scores before suffering that injury and Dallas finished the year 6-10.

The situation is murky in Dallas, and while Prescott doesn’t want a franchise tag, the Cowboys need to find a way to keep him long-term before somebody else swoops him up.

If this is an oversight, it’s a big one and needs to be fixed before Prescott entirely throws out the possibility of signing with the Cowboys.
