The season could not be going much worse for the Dallas Cowboys in 2020, whether on the field, off the field, or virtually. With Cowboys defensive coordinator Mike Nolan holding his weekly press conference on Monday afternoon, the struggling NFC East franchise couldn't even get through that activity unscathed.

According to those who were on Monday afternoon's call, Nolan was forced to take a quick breather en route to full on pausing his press conference after accidentally getting a litte hot sauce in his eye. Apparently, Nolan was unaware of some leftover hot sauce on his finger while then making the massive mistake of touching his eye, which just about everyone on the planet knows is no fun to experience.

It is hard to even make this stuff up at this point for the Cowboys. Hot sauce. In his eye…

On the field, the Cowboys most recently came up way short against a divisional rival in the Washington Football Team. With Washington entering the Week 7 clash with Dallas as an equally terrible team, you would have never known it as the Cowboys did just about everything wrong in order to lose this game. With Washington ultimately coming out on top by the score of 25-3, the Cowboys couldn't even score a touchdown under the direction of backup quarterback Andy Dalton.

Both Washington and Dallas currently sit at a dismal 2-5 on the season with Week 6 now winding down. The 1-6 New York Giants sit in last place in the NFC East with the 2-4-1 Philadelphia Eagles somehow leading the way.
