After the New York Giants fired Jason Garrett as their offensive coordinator, former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was one of the first players to react to the news. His comments were also the most brutal with regards to the whole issue, as he took a shot at his former head coach.

“After hearing the News about JG … Kadarius Toney you will get to experience the love and Joy for football throughout your career,” Bryant wrote on Twitter.

However, Bryant's dissing on Garrett didn't end there. After fans questioned him about his savage reaction, he went on to share his true feelings about the now ex-Giants OC.

“Great dude.. never respected his philosophy towards players and the game,” Bryant said when someone said he didn't like Garrett during their time together.

Jason Garrett served as Cowboys head coach from 2010 to 2019–taking over as interim coach first in 2010 after Wade Phillips was fired. Bryant, for his part, was drafted in 2010 and stayed with Dallas up until 2018. Simply put, he was under Garrett for the majority of his career. And so when another Twitter user called his comment “trash,” he fired back and claimed that he's not the only player feeling the same way.

“Trash? I can’t help people like to hear my thoughts about sports I mean the dude did coach my entire career.. trust me I’m not the only one who feel the same way about him the difference between me and a lot of people I don’t sugar coat shhh.. guys sacrifice a lot to get misused,” Bryant added.

It certainly looks like there's no love lost between Bryant and Garrett even after their separation. Garrett himself has yet to respond to his former player's remarks, though it won't be surprising if he remains silent.
