Dez Bryant, who is still a free agent, continues to throw not-so-subtle hints that he prefers to play with the Dallas Cowboys in 2020. While players are stuck finding ways to stay in shape, Bryant fueled speculation of him reuniting with the Cowboys by working out with Dak Prescott.

The last game that Bryant played in came during the 2017 season with the Cowboys. After eight seasons in Dallas, Bryant found himself looking for a team prior to the 2018 season. Then, later in the 2018 season, the New Orleans Saints signed Bryant in hopes he could be a No. 2 wide receiver alongside Michael Thomas.

However, the veteran pass-catcher, unfortunately, tore his Achilles in his first practice with the Saints. Therefore, Bryant spent the entire 2019 season rehabbing his injury and preparing himself for a comeback to the NFL. Even now, Bryant continues to get into shape for a team to take a chance on him.

Since earlier this offseason, Bryant has made it clear that he'd love to return to the Cowboys. As a matter of fact, he flat-out said that Dallas should give him the role that Jason Witten was given in 2019.

In Bryant's final season with the Cowboys, he was able to record 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns. Of course, the quarterback throwing him the ball in 2017 was Prescott.

Over the past few years, it's safe to say that Prescott has improved under center for the Cowboys. Even though Amari Cooper was re-signed this offseason, it wouldn't hurt Dallas to bring back Bryant next season.
