Ezekiel Elliott's contract controversy with the Dallas Cowboys is taking its toll on the fans of America's Team. And people who love a good saga involving the Cowboys can't help but jump in on the fun.

This time, it was fans of the Philadelphia Eagles who took a chance at jabbing the thing that's causing Dallas fans heartaches. And they put it on a billboard so everyone can see what they've done.

The billboard was simple and straightforward. It had the image of a door and a sequence of speech bubbles that went something like this:

*Knock Knock*

Who's There?

Zeke

Zeke Who?

It was a cheeky billboard that got the attention of everyone who caught it all across the city. An ad agency called Lamar Advertising was the team behind the brilliant billboard. SI's Jacob Feldman documented why the agency gave Cowboy fans a stinger.

“We wanted to show the power of our medium, the digital billboard, how it can go up and go viral,” Philadelphia branch general manager Dave Peacock said, providing confession and motive in a single breath. “The beauty of Lamar is right now we’re in 158 markets, and we have a creative team in each one. Down in Philly, we have the best creative team in the area.”

It's worth mentioning that this is the same team that is behind the equally lovable St. Nick Foles ads that went viral during the Eagles' memorable Super Bowl run. This nugget of information explains a lot why they pulled off such a brilliant campaign.

Slow claps must be given to Lamar. Not only were they able to promote their brand but they were also able to provide a commentary that is touchy to Elliott and the rest of the Cowboys organization. Well played.
