This season is a celebration of 100 years of professional football, so there are enough reasons to celebrate. The league decided to cap off the season by honoring the best players in the NFL 100 All-Time Team.

There have been plenty of men who have played over the NFL's century of existence, so it's hard to pick certain players. However, there are men with careers so impressive that you can't help but One of these men is Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith.

The NFL confirmed the Dallas legend's inclusion to the All-Time team by tweeting out his career achievements during his 15-year career, mostly spent with the Cowboys. His numbers were unreal and will continue to stand the test of time.

The achievements he's done with Dallas show just how dominant of a player he was. The fact that he got the MVP title as the running back over his quarterback Troy Aikman is a testament to his on-field dominance.

Even New England Patriots head coach–and fellow member of the All-Time 100–Bill Belichick didn't hold back on his praises for the retired running back.

“I tell you, I’ve never… I’m just absolutely flabbergasted at the way you consistently can run the ball for positive yards,” Belichick said, via For The Win's Nick Schwartz. “I’ve never seen anybody take so many two-yard gains and turn them into eight-yard plays. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

It's been a long time since Smith suited up for the Cowboys, but the tradition of powerful running backs leading America's team is being carried on by Ezekiel Elliott.
