With a great offensive line, a terrific front seven and a fantastic run game, the Dallas Cowboys are used to controlling the line of scrimmage.

However, that did not happen in their Divisional Round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night, as the Rams used their own running game to gash the Cowboys and also bottled up Ezekiel Elliott in a 30-22 Rams win.

After the game, Elliott admitted that Los Angeles “dominated” Dallas up front, via Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

Los Angeles defensive tackle Aaron Donald was one of the biggest reasons that the Rams stuffed the Cowboys' normally prolific ground game, and afterward, he said the team didn't care about people saying they would struggle to do so:

“We just did our job,” Donald said. “We didn’t worry about anything else. We just played out football. It’s playoff football, win or go home and we know that, we knew what we had to do. The most important thing is that we won. We get to play next week so we have to get ready for that.”

The Rams went into their game against the Cowboys with the 23rd-ranked rushing defense in the league, a scary proposition against a Dallas team that boasted the NFL's leading rusher in Elliott.

In spite of that, Los Angeles managed to hold Elliott to 47 yards, allowing just 2.3 yards per Elliott carry.

With the win, the Rams will advance to the NFC Championship Game and will battle the winner of Sunday night's Divisional Round matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints.
