Ohio State football head coach Urban Meyer finds himself in the middle of a controversial storm, as he’s currently on an administrative leave while an internal investigation about whether he had any knowledge of the former Buckeyes assistant coach Zach Smith’s domestic abuse – but failed to act on it – is ongoing.

While many have called for Ohio State to fire Meyer, there are not a few who have the head coach’s back. In fact, over 200 people have reportedly staged a rally inside the campus of Ohio State to express support for the embattled head coach, who has spearheaded the program since 2012. Among those passionate Meyer who showed up in the rally was the father of Dallas Cowboys running back and former Ohio State star Ezekiel Elliott, Stacy, per Ari Wasserman of The Athletic.

Here are other captured moments from the rally, via Wasserman.

Stacy Elliott was very vocal of his backing of Meyer, saying that the 54-year-old head coach “is a man of integrity, per Kevin Allen of USA TODAY. “I know this,” he added.

Ezekiel Elliott was one of the best players ever handled by Meyer at Ohio State. Elliott played for three years with the Buckeyes, which includes his sophomore year in Columbus in which the team defeated the Oregon Ducks in the College Football Playoffs National Championship – Meyer’s first in Ohio State and third overall in his head coaching career in the collegiate level.
