The Dallas Cowboys decided to part ways with veteran wide receiver Dez Bryant back in April and the 29-year-old still has yet to sign with another team in the NFL.

It's been over two months that Bryant has been on the open market and it's clear that no team is in a rush to sign the three-time Pro Bowler. Although Bryant would be the first to say he's still got plenty of football left in him, that might not be the issue as his attitude could be the reason why he remains unemployed, according to former Cowboys wideout Tony Hill via The Dallas Morning News.

“Well, without question, Dez Bryant is a talent. I mean, this guy — he's a real competitor. But I think the bottom line is — his problem right now is the mentality that comes with being associated with Dez Bryant. He gets upset and frustrated on the sideline, he comes and has tantrums on the sideline. It's infectious, it hurts the ball club and I think that's where the Cowboys were. … They've got a lot of young guys coming up and they had to determine what's more important? Bringing up a team of youngsters and teaching them the right thing? Or having a leader who doesn't lead by example? As a result, I think teams are shying away for that simple reason.”

Early in the process of being a free agent following his release by the Cowboys, Bryant received an offer from the Baltimore Ravens. The team was looking to bolster their receiving corps and bring in another reliable target in the passing game for quarterback Joe Flacco along with newcomer Michael Crabtree.

However, Bryant was thrilled with the offer and reportedly wanted only a one-year deal in order to prove himself to reenter NFL free agency next year with the goal of signing a lucrative long-term deal. With no other teams publicly showing interest in Bryant, the veteran wideout might have to change his approach, especially if his attitude is a concern.
