The Dallas Cowboys face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16 in a game that could decide the winner of the NFC East. When asked about playing in Philadelphia, Jason Witten was nothing but complimentary towards Eagles fans.

At 37-years-old, Witten has played in every stadium that is currently in the NFL. Among all of the places to play, Witten seems to believe that Philadelphia is one of the most hostile environments in the entire league.

Over his 16-year career, Witten has faced the Eagles 30 times. In those games, Dallas has gone 15-15, and the veteran tight end has averaged five receptions and 55 yards in each of those contests.

While he's been a part of plenty of Cowboys and Eagles games, none may be as important as the one he'll be involved in on Sunday. At this moment, Dallas and Philadelphia are tied at 7-7 in the NFC East.

Of course, Witten and the Cowboys own the tie-breaker over the Eagles due to being 4-0 within their division. If Dallas defeats the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field, the fans in the crowd will undoubtedly be filled with boos.

Hearing Witten state that fans in Philadelphia will ‘call you every name in the book' shouldn't come as a surprise. Over the course of history, Eagles fans are notorious for booing Santa Claus and have even booed their own team off the field earlier this season.

Come time on Sunday; the energy in Philadelphia is going to be extremely electric. The longtime Cowboys tight end is hoping to hear the fans call him names as he trots off of the field with a victory for possibly the last time in his career.
