The Thanksgiving spectacle between the Dallas Cowboys and the Las Vegas Raiders certainly delivered. It had its fair share of controversial moments, a handful of game-shifting plays, a thrilling overtime period, and of course, Jerry Jones blasting the referees after a loss.

It was the Raiders that came up with a much-needed win here, 36-33. Jones was clearly unhappy with how the game turned out so he decided to  share his unfiltered view of how the game was officiated:

“I call it ‘throw up ball,’” Jones said, via Cowboys team insider Michael Gehlken. “…This will arguably be the most-watched game other than the Super Bowl. I hate that it got down to just throwing the ball up and getting the penalties to get you big plays.”

The Cowboys committed no less than 14 penalties on the evening which caused them 166 yards. The Raiders capitalized on their opponents' errors behind an awesome performance by Las Vegas quarterback Derek Carr who went for 373 passing yards and one touchdown.

Be that as it may, Jones still appeared to take a jab at the Raiders and how they were able to “adjust to the officiating philosophy:”

“This is not a criticism of the rule,” Jones said. “It is a criticism of the discretion of how you use them in play.”

The Cowboys have now suffered back-to-back losses following their 19-9 defeat against the Kansas City Chiefs from Week 11. They return to action next Thursday to take on the New Orleans Saints.
