Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has thrown jabs at head coach Jason Garrett numerous times this season, but following the Cowboys' latest devastating loss to the Chicago Bears on Thursday night, he appeared to turn his direction toward the players.

While Jones did not say it verbatim, he seemed to question whether or not the current group of players even fits together:

“These guys are mentally okay for me, and all these guys are talented enough for me, so that’s good,” Jones said after the defeat, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.com. “I’m questioning how to put together a coordinated one that complements each other, how to put together a team that can win a football game. … We’re not collectively getting together as a team and doing the things it takes to win ball games.”

That's certainly a fair question to ask, seeing as how the Cowboys have gone just 3-7 over their last 10 games to fall to 6-7 on the season. Dallas remains in first place in the NFC East, but that is mainly due to the ineptitude of the Philadelphia Eagles, who are just 5-7 entering their Week 14 matchup with the New York Giants.

The Cowboys were considered a darkhorse Super Bowl contender by some entering 2019 and played the part over the first three weeks of the season, looking dominant in a 3-0 start.

But since then, Dallas has spiraled out of control, and with just three games to go in the regular season, it doesn't look like the Cowboys are going to fix their problems in time for a deep playoff run.

Dallas will take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15.
