Veteran wide receiver Dez Bryant finally found his way to the Baltimore Ravens' 53-man roster and officially made his return to the league after a couple of years spent on the sidelines. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reassured that no bridges were burned and only had positive things to say about the 32-year-old wideout, per WFAA‘s Mike Leslie.

The billionaire's familiarity with Bryant both on and off the field stemmed from their previous eight-year partnership spanning from 2010 to 2017. Bryant made a name for himself as a mainstay on the Cowboys, snagging three trips to the Pro Bowl and a First-Team All-Pro selection back in 2014.

Bryant's Cowboys tenure ended in April 2018, and he eventually found his way to the New Orleans Saints several months later. He failed to log a single appearance on the field for the Saints due to a season-ending Achilles injury in one of their practices.

Bryant made it back to the league after he was initially signed by the Ravens on their practice squad back in October 2020. He continuously worked his way up and finally landed a roster spot on the team.

In Week 11 proceedings against the Tennessee Titans, the veteran caught four of five passes to account for 28 receiving yards in an overtime loss for Baltimore. Bryant will aim to exceed his previous output and start easing himself into the team's offense heading into the latter stages of the season, with a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers coming up on Wednesday after multiple postponements.

After almost three years, Dez Bryant and Jerry Jones will soon cross paths once again and will find themselves on the opposite ends of the field this time around as the Ravens host the visiting Cowboys for Week 13 action. That game is currently slated for next Tuesday.
