The Dallas Cowboys got some unfortunate news earlier in the week as they found out that Micah Parsons was heading to the covid-19 list and is going to miss the Cowboys game in week 18 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

This isn't necessarily the biggest loss for the Cowboys as they have already clinched the NFC East Division and have a spot in the playoffs. Obviously, they wanted to get a higher seed and losing Parsons certainly will not help that. Dallas still should be able to take care of business against the Eagles.

Micah Parsons took to Twitter to express how he felt about contracting the virus,

“I saddened by the news I feel like I let my team down and Dallas cowboys nation! I’ll be back better than ever!! I’m only going to be more hungry! See you soon #lion”

This shows some good leadership from a young rookie and just shows the type of hard worker he is and how much dedication he has to the Cowboys organization and the fans.

He has been one of the best defensive players in all of football this season and has certainly been a big reason why the Cowboys' defense has been as good as it has been. He even has a chance to win the defensive player of the year award but he does have a tough match-up as he is going to have to win over the Steelers star, T.J. Watt.
